The 2016 AZ Bike Week will be the 20th anniversary of the event. There will be a lot of fun things to do.
Rally-central for ABW will be held at the 350 acre-plus Westworld of Scottsdale. One of the major draws will be the live music all five days in the HandleBar Saloon and two nationally recognized bands playing each night, Wednesday through Saturday in the RockYard. The band lineups are: Blackberry Smoke and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Wednesday night; Warrant and Blues Traveler on Thursday; Reverend Horton Heat and Social Distortion on Friday; and Ratt and Buckcherry on Saturday.
For the 20th anniversary, ABW will have two new attractions- flat track racing and the Legends Classic & Vintage Motorcycle Auction. There will also be five benefit rides: Fourth Annual “Peace Out, Prostate Cancer Ride” prostate cancer benefit; Eleventh Annual “T-Bar Trail Ride” breast cancer charities benefit; Fourth Annual “Saddle Up For Kids Ride” the Arizona Camp Courage benefit; Sixth Annual Hamster’s Charity “Dry Heat Run” Lifescape Children’s Care Hospital benefit; and the Third Annual “Hand In Hand Ride” benefit for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Other events to round out the 2016 Arizona Bike Week offering include two multi-class bike shows (3rd Annual BadAZ Bike Show and 6th Annual Baddest Bagger in Arizona Bike Show), King Tony’s Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour, FMX Freestyle Motocross Extreme Stunt Shows, TEAM Arizona safe riding demos, Harley Davidson of Scottsdale Drill Team, wet t-shirt contest, parties in the Rally Roadhouse, and top shelf vendors.
The cost of the five-day event all-inclusive pass is actually lower than in years past at $58. To read more on the event and to register go to the AZ Bike Week.
