The NC700 is a new middleweight bike from Honda with a sub-700cc parallel-Twin engine. Kawasaki, however, has had a similar middleweight bike since 2006 in Europe and since 2008 in USA—that’s the Kawasaki Versys, which costs about $1000 more than the Honda. Kevin Duke and Martin Firestone from Motorcycle.com decided to ride and compare the Honda NC700 with its established counterpart. They think that the Kawasaki with its more powerful engine and more responsive steering will suit riders who prefer a sporty feel. The Honda, they say, will make a better beginner bike.
