Earlier this month, Bell Sports released new graphics for many of its motorcycle helmet models, no new lids.
New Bell Street Full-Face Graphics
The new Monarch graphics for the Bell Vortex take their name from the Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus)—obviously the graphic artist was inspired by the patterns on the wings of this beautiful creature. Normally brands use butterflies and pink in a very cheap way to repackage a piece of biker gear as women’s. But this helmet looks like the real thing. It comes in black/pink and black/silver and is currently only available for pre-order in online stores.
Bell RS-1, a popular helmet that competes with the Shoei RF-1100 has three new graphic options called Emblem—Emblem White (white/black), Emblem Matte Black, and Emblem Hi-Viz Yellow (yellow/black).
New Bell Open-Face Graphics
Two new color schemes are now available for the open-face retro-style Custom 500 helmet, the helmet that pays homage to Bell founder Roy Richter’s original design from 1954. The new color schemes are called Skratch Bonneville (matte black) and Hurricane (gold/black/white).
The Bell Drifter DLX, the coolest cruiser helmets on the market, now have the Black Ops graphics—matte black with a five-pointed star ideograms on the sides.
Introduced in 2012, the Bell Pitt Boss half helmets also received new graphic design called Checkers Twin Tone (matte black).
New Bell Dirt Bike Graphics
The Bell Moto-9, the latest generation of Bell dirt-bike helmets, now comes in 5 new graphics—Hurricane, Unit Multi, Emblem Matte Black, Emblem Hot Yellow, and Emblem Blue.
Since its introduction in 2011, the Bell SX-1 helmet has been a good alternative for those seeking a dirt-bike helmet priced under $100. New graphics for Bell SX-1 this fall include the Switch (in six color scheme variants) and the Crusade with green neon colors.
The Bell MX-2 helmet, that sells for under $200, offers similar advantages as Bell’s high-end Moto-9. This helmet received three new graphics—the Reverb, Daytona, and Breaker. The Breaker comes in 4 color scheme variants. Go to our online store to see all current models of Bell helmets.
