Jarrod and Justin Del Prado of DP Customs are known for building cool custom bikes—using mostly 1977-1985 Harley-Davidsons as donors. And this is by far my personal favorite—a custom 1000cc 1982 Harley-Davidson Ironhead painted in white, red, and black. The builders started with the tail by “eliminating all of the clutter and hardtailing it.” Justin created the wing from a sheet metal. Initially the bike was finished in red with white accents, but recently Jarrod decided to repaint it.
The brothers are big fans of racing, especially Formula 1, and that’s why they chose the paint scheme of the Marlboro-sponsored McLaren that was driven by Ayrton Senna. They even placed Senna’s number 8 from the 1993 McLaren MP4/8.
