You don’t have to be a fan of the movie Tron to appreciate the street-legal motorcycles inspired by the computer-animated bike from the movie Tron: Legacy (2010). Meet the Tron Lightcycle movie replica, aka Xenon. It was created by Florida-based Parker Brothers Choppers and Evolve Motorcycles, an American manufacturer of electric motorcycles. Parker Brothers Choppers engineered Xenon (They are the creators of the gas-powered Light Cycle version for the movie Tron: Legacy.) Evolve Motorcycles provided the electric technology and is the official manufacturer. Watch the video with Xenon below.
If you get a premium version of the bike with a battery that doubles the power of the basic, you’ll get a 100-mile range, a maximum speed of 100 mph, and a charge time of 4 hours . A basic Xenon is available for $55.000.
The first replica of Tron motorcycles is available at Hammacher Schlemmer Web site, built to order. This bike is powered by a fuel-injected Suzuki 996cc, 4-stroke engine. It has a 3 1/2-gallon main fuel tank and 1 1/4-gallon reserve tank.
