South Africans Enrico Schoeman and André de Kock have set a new Guinness World Record for Longest Motorcycle Ride Through a Tunnel of Fire. The new Guiness World record was set September 23, 2011 at the Waterberg Game festival in Vaalwater, New Zealand. Enrico Schoeman, a professional photographer, and André de Kock, a journalist, rode their Kawasaki sidecar through a fire tunnel of 73.3 meters (240 feet).
The previous Guinness world record of 68.4 meters (224 feet ride through fire) was held by Indian Superbike racer Shabir Ahluwalia and set on 13 March 2011.
