Last month in Mainz, Germany, Custom Chrome Europe held the 13th edition of its International Bike Show Series—2011 Custom Chrome Europe Dealer Show. More than 100 European custom builders created some amazing pieces with tricked-out bike parts and competed for a total prize of € 50,000 in 4 classes—Championship, Modified Harley, RevTech Performance, and Jammer Old School Class. The organizers offered three additional awards: Public Choice, Special, and Magazine Award. Championship Class Winners
Number one in this class, the big winner, the best bike in the show, is a customized 1951 BSA “Gold Star,” named “Sun of a Gun” by its creator Larry Houghton of Lamb Engineering, UK.
“Stargate” built by Garage 65 from Italy took second place.
“Pura Vision 2011” by Wildstyle, Czech Republic was third.
Modified Harley Class
“Union” built by Abnormal Cycles, Italy won the first prize in Modified Harley Class.
Second in this category was “Speedfreak” built by Thunderbike, Germany.
“XLST 3” built by Shaw Harley-Davidson, UK took the third place.
